Is a horizontal section required for all vent runs that terminate vertically?

A horizontal section of venting is strongly recommended, but if all other options are exhausted and a horizontal section cannot be installed then an angled or vertical section may be used. Please follow all other venting specifications and requirements as detailed in the installation manual.
