The Noritz EZ Series Pro units have a Display Window built in that allows for full setting and control of the unit as an alternative to the EZ Start Plus Bluetooth App. The following will guide you through checking the error code history on these models.
For other Noritz models, CLICK HERE.
Step 1:
Remove front cover.
Step 2:
Locate display window and buttons at bottom of heater.
Step 3:
Press and hold the MODE button for about 2 seconds.
Step 4:
Press the UP or DOWN button until F.EH (Error History) is shown.
Step 5:
Press MODE button to select. You should now see EH.1 (Error History #1) then the most recent error code. Here you may use the UP or DOWN buttons to navigate through the Error Code History.
As you go UP, the display will alternate between EH.# and dH.#, showing the error code then showing how many days since that error code occurred.
Once 000 is displayed, there are no more error codes stored and you may go back down to previously viewed error codes or exit (See Next Step).
Step 6:
Once finished, press the MODE button to go back then press and hold the MODE button to exit.
