What is the difference between ASME and non-ASME heaters?

Commercial ASME1 heaters are tested after manufacturing to comply with ASME1 quality control standards. These ASME1 heaters also carry a superior commercial warranty (5 years on heat exchanger2 and parts). Furthermore, the shell is constructed of stainless steel.

Typically the model will bear “ASME1” as part of it’s model name. i.e. NC380-SV-ASME1

ASME1

heat exchanger2
