While many of our tankless units can be used with a 1/2″ gas line, there are certain requirements that need to be met to ensure the tankless works properly. Tankless water heaters require more BTU demand than regular storage tanks therefore it is recommended that you contact a qualified plumber to see if your gas line needs to be changed.
